IT COULD BE ONLY ONE WINNER: AMERICAN INTEREST

Mark Twain was writing that man must be loyal to his country no matter what but to his goverment only when it deserves. For American people, the last 8 years of  Obama’s Administration haven’t been the best years. Not only in economical way but also in political. America used to be the global power, the lion in the international relations but with Democrats in the White House, it has become the scary kitten. The people have seen that transformation and they haven’t liked  it all but there was something else which was more frightening, the rise of division of American society  from within.
The limited capacity of American Foreign Policy and the volume of domestic  economical surgery has opened the door of hell for all. The intellectual elite have believed that President Obama makes his best but the ordinary people, men at work, single mothers, students with loans, unemployed juniors and forgotten veterans didn’t share the same impression. For them, there was a world before Obama and after. The old and the new America. Two universes which started deep separation before they even tried to search for a common ground.
America has been turned into messy land over one night but there were years of internal and external damaging. The American patriots accused one person for all, like he is the only one who rules them all, Barack Hussein Obama, the first African American president and the first who was born outside the continental America. Â One name for all problems: Â economical collapse of car industry, Obamacare lost in the mist, lack of national security and potential of America to be considered as vulnerable target for terrorist activities and failure in global policy. The people lost the trust in the American institutions and for the first time in American history, many felt ashamed of modified place of the USA on the international level. While other countries have leaders, America has had only a president and that is something which majority of residents of the “land of the free and home of the brave” wont forgive and forget. Â These were indicators of deep line of divisions among people. They weren’t anymore Americans but democrats and republicans. Liberals and conservatives.The founding fathers hadn’t thought ever that it will come a moment when the sharpness and bitterness of political tastes of American public will be so high that even the crucial values of American Constitutional Spiritualism will be traded for local daily tabloid arguments.
When  American billionaire and businessman , Donald Trump came out and started his own presidential campaign on June 16, 2015 almost none believed that celebrity and super showman will survive the struggles of American political battles. He was almost like an actor on the scene, shocking the Americans and the world with the non-polished statements about the burning issues:Economical Policy, Illegal Immigrants, Terrorists but he would have also given comments about women, gay population, sexual preferences and it seemed that his show must go on but not for a long time. While Mrs. Clinton, his opponent tried to figure out how to cover her own bloody footprints in American foreign policy sheet, he didn’t give up on saying what he thinks and offering the people the forgotten taste of power. Make America Great Again was not only his presidential campaign’s mantra but also a ticket for all people to hope for a better tomorrow. Who would ever expect that man who criticized women and specific sexual orientations, the diversity in the USA and who warned about the danger of the radical Islam will be the 45th American president? Maybe only those who believed in him during those hard months of political activities and social media transformations from Barking Celebrity and rich man to the leader of one nation under one God.
What I found very much interesting is the fact that these elections were a big surprise for all. Not only for losers of the results but also for the experts and the media. How is that possible? You are never too sure with the people, especially with the American people who seem to be irritated with the years of Democratic rule and who were ready to give a chance to someone new in political circles, to the man from profit. The logic is the following: if he learnt how to make money for himself, he will learn America to earn money and to be great again. It is not only about money. It is about the pride. It is about the power. It is about the unity. It is about the American flag to be above the mutual condemn. That is why Mr. Trump closed the book of divisions among Americans and promised to be the President of all people.
The magazine TIME reminds us what he promised:“As president, Trump has promised he will build a wall along the border with Mexico, suspend the Syrian refugee resettlement program, repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act and renegotiate NAFTA. His election, coupled with Republican control of Congress, will also likely put a new conservative Supreme Court justice in the seat vacated by the late Justice Antonin Scalia.” , but we all must know that the presidential campaign is like a war, all is allowed. The peace times will dictate the decisions and the new political vocabulary, controlled and measured by new spin maestros. Even if he doesn’t do anything what he promised to his voters and also to his silent voters, he will change something, he will bring the wind of change in polarized American society. This wind could be creative storm but could be also the destructive hurricane. The current victory is not only Republican victory on the presidential level, it is a complete Republican Victory. The all power centers are colored with Republican candidates and political ideology and it could be expected that some high professionals will be replaced by another set. I wouldn’t call that as a revenge but as a part of that famous Trump “Make America great Again” operation. The thrilling moment will be how he and his team will develop the Foreign Policy and how they will answer on accumulated pressures in International Relations. The controversial is the diplomatic mood towards Russia and China but also the Security treatment of sick Middle East Policy.
Mr. Trump is a successful businessman but he shown to the whole world that he could be also the politician and social media leader. He only needs to show us that he will be the president as America deserves, strong enough to unite divided and wise enough to not fall into the traps of political and structural enemies. The man of scandals surprised all but he taught the global community that people are not just  sheeple, they can still make decisions and turn the whole world around just over night. God bless you America and keep in mind that united you stand and divided you fall.

I was disappointed reading this. It sounded like propaganda. The US car industry was on the brink of collapse when Obama took office, sales were already down 40%. US auto makers making V-8 engines could not compete with Japanese cars; V-6 engines, front wheel drive, transverse engines and lower cost. US car makers were focused on profit instead of customer excellence, they could not compete with a Japanese or German car with a mediocre looking vehicle. Obama stabilized the industry, saved 1 million jobs, GM & Chrysler emerged from bankruptcy in 2009 creating 500,00 more jobs.
Obama care was a start to health coverage for all, was a godsend for those who had no insurance and needed medical care, the problem arises when the healthy don’t apply for the health coverage and we are left with just poor unprivileged people who need care. Insurance companies start dropping out. They are all about money, they are a business.
We have been a vulnerable target for terrorist activities long before Obama came into office. Have you heard of the 4 coordinated terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001? Almost 3,000 people died and 6,000 were wounded. Global terrorism came to America.
The unemployment rate fully recovered from the Bush Great Recession to 4.9% and oil prices are low. We don’t have our men on the ground in Iraq or Afghanistan. Obama brought them home.
Clinton won the popular vote in the USA, by over 2,000,000 votes. The Electoral college voted for Trump. In the history of the United States there has never been an uproar, demonstrations the likes of what I have seen in this presidential outcome. The American people are angry.
Clinton had her questionable emails about Benghazi the Republicans wanted to crucify her and yet Bush invades Iraq in search of Weapons of Mass Destruction and gets a slap on his wrist?
Trump has surrounded himself with openly racist, Wall Street insiders, anti-muslim bigots, anti-Semitic, anti-gay, men he wants for his cabinet.
I am a Democrat and proud of it. I am also an animal advocate and I am very afraid of a man whose children kill exotic animals and smile about it. Trump has said he wants to manage public lands for hunting and fishing, reduce wolves and rebuild the herds (elk, moose). More drilling, logging, mining of public lands.
The Paris Agreement? Trump has vowed to dump that, he does not believe in global warming, climate change, thousands of species are at risk now.
The animal advocates and environmentalists will have a fight on their hands for the next 4-8 years if Trump manages to be president. I hope that the old white Republican men our senators and congressmen will stop bitching and do their job!
