WHY HUMANS HATE WOLVES?

I have already written articles about the importance of wolves in our culture and the place they have in the global anthropological heritage. Those animals are part of our civilization rise and they share many years of existence or coexistence with us.

The wolves have always been the part of Homo sapiens wildlife experience. No matter what, they have followed us and stayed around us.. we have been afraid of them but I think wolves have been and still they more afraid of us. It is mutual respect or even kind of fear that is playing wicked game with our common sense. If we look up on so many stories about BIG BAD WOLVES and poor Homo sapiens , you would think the people are such innocent creatures. Who is who in those tales or urban legends ? I can relate the past fear of people with the fact that old and dark times have been measured with another level of survival risks. But, speaking of nowadays, I can’t accept the propaganda against wolves. It reminds me too much of witch hunt, in middle age are. It is too similar, it let me have odd feeling, like we don’t make any progress as civilization but only regressing.

The last and terrible campaign against wolves is in my county, Germany. Few years ago, when they informed us that the wolves come back and we are lucky to welcome them, all people have been happy and excited. Wow, Germany is greeting the return of the wolves. Some years later, the collective mood is again shaped by local political interest and party affiliation. Who needs wolves ? They ruin our agriculture and our livestock. Do they ? The fact is that the wolves are restart button of the eco system and they do make changes in the environment because that’s their job .There where they come back, the deer are running faster and move from one habitat to another, allowing nature to heal itself so the trees come again to life , that the birds can have their shelters and comfort. They change the course of the wildlife , as the most powerful predators in biodiversity. Why we can’t accept the fact that wolves regulate the nature without us ? Yes, they can do it and they do it better than egoistic humans .

The antropocentrism is a serious deviation of modern world . It is not everything about us, our children or our interests . The wildlife has all rights to be here with us, this planet belong to all, not just to humans. In the current campaign against wolves, the political lunatics call for shooting them and eliminating them. At the same time, nobody is warning about dangerous individuals who kill and misshandle our men, women or children. The thousand of immigrants eat our tax money, use our benefits and reshape our system but the big and bad wolf is the one responsible for all failures of Homo sapiens. That’s the paradox of all times.

I live not far away from forest that is mentioned, in media , to be full and overpopulated with wolves . It is pretty much scary to admit that I haven’t seen any so far and I am always in the woods. Sick hysterical people and their small brains can never follow the logical explanation and background checks because they are there to be manipulated and opinionated , not to be subjects that think. If you tell them to scream while wolves are all around and even they haven’t seen one, they will cry and call for killing. People are mentally unstable and easy to be used as machinery of the elite to sell their own agenda.

So, Germany is under fire about wolves but not about aggressive immigrants and pedophiles .If you let your child playing in the park, it is more risk that is attacked by pedophile than by wolves. Still afraid of wolves ? Still interested in burning them in the fire of own stupidity?

Have you ever wondered why is public speech pro/con wolves depending on local political vocabulary and goals ? If I need wolves for my goals, they will be cute creatures and so they will be presented . But if I need them to sell fear and call on discipline , they will be presented as new target for failed policies. It is just a political tactic that has nothing to do with conservation, not here in Germany, not in USA or anywhere else .

The wolves that are roaming free in our forests aren’t here to kill you or eat your children but to live their life and stay alive, as they did for so many hundreds of years on the earth. If might happen they attack your livestock, maybe you don’t do anything to protect that what is important to you.

I know many farmers that invested in more good and trained dogs , great fence and cameras . They told me they have never seen wolf around . Then you have those who spread panic , not taking care of their livestock and pretending that the wolf ruined their business .If I can find job where I can “easy work or even don’t really work “ and get good money, would go for it, as everyone else, as wolf too. When the livestock is not protected and exposed , you can’t put blame on wolf and its instinct but on your laziness and greed. You want to take it all, money and not – investment and following the measures of balanced wolf management. Something is wrong in your world not in the world or returned wolves.

The wolves come to your surrounding because you ruined their surrounding, leaving only despaired places and no wildlife capacity to feed anyone / anything. There you are, still complain that wolf took it all from you? No, you took all from wolves and nature and now you see karma .

The wolves around being seen is a privilege, the sign of healthy ecosystem and moving and vibrating wildlife. When one predator is there who don’t use weapons but it’s pure power, the wildlife rhythm is getting nuances and complexity. It is not empty and lazy, it is blooming. The mechanism that works in the world of humans that nothing works good but greed and egoism.

You can’t convince me with any argument against wolves but you can convince me that you are greedy monster that wrap own interests in common fear and public feeling of scapegoat. Don’t try that with me, you are on the wrong address.

I can guarantee you that I won’t report any wolf I have seen and they will be safe around me … and you keep being you, the wrong human in the wrong world , on the right planet.
