THE NEW WORLD SHAPED BY TERRORISM AND MALIGN RELIGION

“If you want total security, go to prison. There you’re fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking… is freedom. ”
―Dwight D. Eisenhower

Homo homini lupus est. One man is wolf to another one but at the end of the day, wolves form packs and they stand up for each other. The people destroy their communities and they stand up against each other, with no mercy. Many philosophers warned that people could be beasts without laws. That is an ultimate truth. Unleashed and free, outlaw and wild, we are nothing but thinking beasts. That is why the modern homo sapiens can not live without society and regulations, control and punishment. No matter what, our common sense is still not so advanced that we wouldn’t  abuse our own  freedom and endanger another’s one security. Input and output. The Leviathan must be here or the beasts will be unlimited.

However, in recent times, it seems that the Leviathan is tired and can’t anymore handle the things that aren’t supposed to be handled but eliminated. Our governments lose the battle with the accumulated problems of failed human and national security. They forgot to protect the basic democratic principles but to replace them with the excuses of the LSD imagination of the colorful monster of multiculturalism. You don’t build the house of multiculturalism on the foundations of ideology of hatred, condemn and latent interests for final conquest. You simply do not give the free ride to the potential killer, especially if you have your own children in the car. Our beloved governments failed to protect their own citizens while they were trying to convince us that we need to help someone, somewhere and for some reason.

The seed  of terrorism is everywhere grounded. It is not happening only in the burning Middle East but in our backyards. The egoistic oil race and geopolitical competition for the 21st century modern colonization have brought to us the plague from the far away areas. The blood, the tears and the pain of dying peace that has really never existed in the reality over there. The thousands of people without homes and future, without anything to hold on except the revenge if the chance for new life is not given. The generations of orphans that will be abused in the jaws of local and international prostitution if the Leviathan doesn’t pass the crucial exam. The million possibilities  for anyone, anywhere to hurt everyone, everywhere. The terrorism finally has got its own  wings, it is produced, exported and imported, delivered and practiced. It is the part of our new world, the world of the security  risks and challenges, of unrestrained beasts and leashed Leviathan.

Just in this month, the April of 2017, there were so many terror attacks and incidents that could confirm the conservative fear for the endangered security and liberal fear from the empowered security. We wake up with the bad feeling in our guts that something bad will hit our lives again as it was on 3 April 2017, when a terrorist attack took a place on the Saint Petersburg Metro, between Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologichesky Institut station. An explosive device caused the death of 7 people and hard injuries of 45.  It is stated that the suspected terrorist was  Akbarzhon Jalilov, a Russian citizen, ethnic Uzbek that was born in Kyrgyzstan. For all terrorism experts, it is very well known that many ethnic Uzbeks are motor fuel for the DAESH terrorism on the Russian land. Majority are simply paid fighters but there are those who share the sick ideology of the Islamic State. While the whole Russia was mourning the victims, the Western World, interested in democracy and human rights was worried not about the rise of domestic terrorism but about the rise of Putin popularity. The fact is that these times cry out for strong leaders and not the weak one that will be eaten up by the rats. Russia has a severe problem with the inside terrorist cells that are seeded by numerous illegal immigrants from Ex-Soviet Republics that participate silently in support of radical islam invasion. All what Vladimir Putin is doing now is trying to enhance his own unbothered  governance through the ensuring the safety to his people.

Then, comes the shocking footage of the chemical weapons attack in Syria. The U.S. is blaming Assad for chlorine gas, used in northern rebel-held zone. The terrible photos  from the ground could make us scream on the demonized humanity, but  I am also wondering why the U.S. and the western coalition haven’t done anything regarding the Islamic State virus in Syria and Iraq!?For them, it is just a one right move and the DAESH is done so the horror over there. But, the truth is that the interest areas have not been decided yet and the sides do not want to give more than they will get so in the meantime, the deadly chlorine gas is killing the children in the weeks when the Christians are getting ready for the biggest feast, the Easter.

The romantic Christian feelings are disturbed by the european terror attack,  in Stockholm, The social media started with the “Pray for Stockholm” but in this case the prayers do not solve the essential security problems. Sweden has imported the all evil of the world, embracing the killers as the victims. I personally believe that this beautiful country is the first easy prey of the malign and forced immigration from the brutal world. No go zones in Sweden could be maybe manipulated by fake news and internet gossip, but the Sweden reality is worse, like the whole underground world is now up, turning the Sweden into the hallway of hell. The latest terror attack in the capital  was when the hijacked 30-tonne truck came into pedestrians at a busy department store, killing 4 people and injuring 15.  The suspected is Rakhmat Akilov from Uzbekistan, the failed asylum seeker. Only to remind, Sweden has the highest asylum requests because of its own liberal standards. In 2015, there were more than 150.000 requests for  asylum and some are solved negatively but there are still 3.000 of illegal immigrants in Stockholm. Rakhmat Akilov was just one of them, marked to be deported in 2014. The irony is that one of the victim, Maïlys Dereymaeker, 31 was a belgian social worker that worked and helped the asylum seeker.

Palm Sunday attack in Egypt has delivered the death to 44 Christians  and hurt more than 100 in the two of the coptic Churches.  It has been carried out by ISIS  and it confirmed that the darkness rules for Christian population in Egypt. It also confirms that the supporting lines of DAESH are enough strong to act separately in North Africa. The lack of security will cause the economical damage to Egypt in the following period because the country lives on tourism.

Egypt-Church-Bombing

Some weeks ago, the UK has had its debacle with terrorism, Westminster terror attack on March, 22 2017.Maybe for the first time, the whole population over there was sure that the Brexit was the right choice.

The Europe is fighting with the autoimmune disease. It is killed from inside. The problem are not only the radicalized immigrants but also the conflict between the hard and soft stream. The conservative want the borders being  shut down and protected and the security to be empowered. The liberal orientation keep dreaming about John Lennon’s world. The fact is that world doesn’t exist anymore, all we have now is real survival and in the following period, the road between being human and survive will be tight. Then, we must be able to go in the right directions, hoping it is not too late for humans to escape the beasts.

  1. An exceptionally good article dear Sarah. Thank you very much for sharing. Our governments in the west and the US have been losing the battle against terrorism because they are not serious about fighting it, and always trying to solve the problem backward. There is nothing wrong with multiculturalism if the governments did the proper things when adding different flavors to our societies from different cultures and background. As you mentioned, our governments should always do a background check before allowing individuals into our countries. This alone would not resolve the problem from the roots. We as civilized countries should treat the troubled Middle East with fairness. We can’t sell radical groups there weapons and not to expect such groups to turn our weapons on us. We can’t deprive them peace and democracy by assign poppets rulers on them and expect them to like us. If we in the west would like to enjoy our peace, security, and democracy, we must sincerely act on the Middle East and establish peace and democracy over there.

  2. Thank you, Sarah, for an excellent article! This article affects all of us and is, therefore, critical to all of us ! First, let’s discuss the nature of the problem, and second, let’s discuss the solution.

    First, the problem:
Analytically, there are two parts to the problem of terrorism, namely, the interpretation of religion, as portrayed by certain factions, and the economical factor! In reality, however, the two work hand in hand !

The first component is that certain factions, or special-interest groups, portray religion or religious requirements so as to gain ground in their battle to power and control! In so doing, they brain wash the uneducated and unenlightened portion of the population in order to sway their mind and win their battle!

The second component is the economical factor, which is the fuel that energizes the aforementioned portion of the population, as it is struggling to survive.

Therefore, those factions utilize that the economical factor to fuel their propaganda of East against West !

Ultimately, those groups are only interested in achieving their own agenda, which is to rise to power and to be in control! Religion is just a vehicle to achieve their goal!

    Second, the solution:
Part of the solution is to help less fortunate parts of the world so that the economical factor would be diminished. This would, in turn, reduce that “fuel” that the factions use to energize their base!

Another part of the solution is to have rigorous vetting of the people being accepted into a country in order to ascertain whether they are radicalized. While this is no easy task, it is, nevertheless, better than just admitting people without any background check.

Last, but not least, the number of immigrants would have to be better regulated so that the immigrants would assimilate first before the arrival of another group of immigrants so as to avoid creating a “mini foreign society ” within the main society, as this leads to heterogeneity, hence the problems you mentioned in your article, herein, as well as in your previous articles Crimmigration: “The case of Germany” , and No-Go Areas: American and European Ghettos of Broken Dreams” !

Thank you again, Sarah, for such a wonderful article ! As usual, it is both very interesting and very enlightening !

  3. Sarah’s provocative and insightful article commences with the ancient Latin proverb of ‘Homo homini lupus est’ (i.e. Among strangers, a man is a wolf rather than a human…); drawn from the play entitled Asinaria, by Titus Maccius Plautus (c. 245-184 BCE). In turn, this reminded me of the legal precept of ‘Qui tacet consentire videtur’ (i.e. Silence is understood to give consent). My reference to this Latin expression being associated with the progenitor of the so-called War on Terror: very few people questioned the legitimacy of the decision by the US-government to invade both Afghanistan and Iraq. It was a trial by media. What should have occurred was a protracted debate on who would gain from the invasions, in a commercial context. This disputation did not take place, because of the direct relationship between the then US-government and specific multinational corporations associated with the fossil fuel industry and weapons manufacturing, predominantly.

The US-government began to invest in Central Asian and Western Asian assets during the decline of the former Soviet Union (i.e. late-1970s and the 1980s). The Taliban was specifically sponsored by the Reagan administrations, in Afghanistan. Again, nobody in North America was questioning this rapport between a secular Occidental government and the Orthodox Muslims, the Taliban; which was being set up as a potential post-Soviet pretext for endless warfare (i.e. a highly lucrative pursuit of powerful governments). The result is what we are living through now: the increasing spread of clandestinely sponsored (i.e. via Washington, D.C.) ‘Muslim’ terrorism. As Europe is geographically closer to Western Asia, it is being targeted much more so than North America. In the 1980s, the ultra-Right Wing think tanks of Washington, D.C. knew Western Europe would be a soft target for terrorists.

In the context of the history of terrorism, Western European scholars exclaim that the inceptive terrorism of humans began during the 1st century CE: the ultra-extremist Jews of Judaea (Roman province) employed terror to intimidate and murder any Jew who collaborated with the Romans. As today, these terrorists employed shock tactics, by hitting their targets in public areas; so as to place fear into the lives of Jews considering doing business with the Romans. Obviously, the Commandment of ‘Thou shalt not kill…’ being put aside, conveniently.

In the 4th century CE, Christian terrorists (referred to as the Parabalani) in Alexandria in Egypt employed terrorism to eradicate paganism. One very prominent incident being the murder of the remarkable mathematician, astronomer and philosopher Hypatia, in 415 CE.

The Wall Street bombing of 1920 was orchestrated by Italian Anarchists (30 people killed and 143 seriously injured; as well as several horses being killed). The US-government did a deal with the Anarchists to leave North America without being prosecuted. This defused the situation, while the FBI was coming into being. Illustrating that the US-government has a protracted history of dealing with terrorist organizations.

Several prominent history scholars and political activists (e.g. Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky) argue that the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki constitute the two most horrendous acts of terrorism in human history, thus far. In the context of The Geneva Conventions (1864), this is correct; as civilians are not to be deliberately targeted in warfare. Pearl Harbor was a military target and the war crimes committed by the Japanese military in World War II were nothing in comparison to what the successive US-administrations had done to the aboriginals of North America, the people of The Philippines and to the Japanese themselves.

Therefore, the international laws governing terrorism need to be applied holistically, and as such all US-presidents since George W. Bush are guilty of terrorism on a mass scale (e.g. 2 million plus civilians killed in Iraq since 2003 by the US-military).

Especially since the late-20th century, the successive US-administrations have invested (i.e. clandestinely) in terrorist organizations in order to accommodate certain aspects of US-Foreign Policy. This has included weapons training, communications and logistics; which have allowed organizations like ISIS to be effective and play its role of being a pretext for the so-called War on Terror (which has never been officially endorsed by the US-Congress).

Pandora’s Box has most definitely been opened, and we are all affected by this… Though, as Sarah’s article ends on an optimistic note for positive change, people can take courage from the fact that there are millions of Muslims across the world who are peaceful and do not support terrorism. They desire co-operation with non-Muslims and strive to assimilate into non-Muslim societies. It is only the extremists that threaten their own people (just like the ancient Jewish Zealots) not to assimilate and collaborate with non-Muslims… Clandestinely, this is supported by powerful Occidental governments, because it is so lucrative.
