Could you imagine the world without something known as feeling of guiltiness ? I am sure that this world is slowly falling down into the jaws of heart’s indifference, soul’s coldness and in the dimension without any compassion. The lack of empathy could be seen everywhere and it doesn’t surprise the amount of misery which affects all of us, when we are not able to stand up for each others. We don’t want to stand up for each others because that is not our job, we aren’t paid for it. We are not paid to be human beings, we were born like human beings but we evolve ourselves into the social beasts.
Why would some Mark from the USA be worried about the homeless fellow in France or the happy mother from Germany about the poor single mother from Bolivia? If they have hearts, they will be worried about each one over there, who is fighting the battle against injustice. If they are not concerned, every attempt of myself to change people’s feelings for others is useless. Then, it is too late. But, I still hope that echo of humanity lives within us and that we can reach those who need us, now and always.
According to UNICEF, 1.2 million children go missing worldwide every year and this number is variable because many children are abducted, some are being used for human trafficking and sexual slaves but some are being killed simply for their organs. The problem is getting worse with each new year, particularly in South America where corrupted hospitals, police and drug cartels work all together for profit.
The Mexican Foundation for the Research on Missing and Abducted children has made one campaign for parents how to protect their school children from being kidnapped. The accent is especially given in Mexico City and the states of Mexico, Veracruz and Puebla. The victims are not only children from ordinary Mexican families but also the children and young homeless people because their vanishing can be easily covered and not further investigated. It is not only about the organ harvesting for a big amount of foreign money which connects and reconnects the businessmen from the USA or the U.K., corrupt Mexican politicians and local authorities but also the global drug dealers who want the piece of cake.
Dr. Fernando Lopez-Neblina, a surgeon at a hospital in the border town of Mexicali claims that Mexico legal system is not interested to follow the line of forced organ trafficking as well as the victims of random organ trafficking for the purposes of cults. The difference between one killed for organs such as heart or liver and one killed for the witchcraft ritual known as “Santa Muerte” or Saint Death is the way of killing and pulling the targeted organ out. When the organ is the part of organized trafficking chain, the surgery is mostly precisely done and with a professional style. The cult fanaticism allows the monstrous destruction of the victim.
The police in Mexico’s western state of Michoacan has a direct war with the members of the Knights Templar cartel because it has been accused for kidnapping children to harvest their organs and sell them abroad. The last incident was in 2014 when Michoacan state Public Safety Secretary Carlos Castellanos Becerra stated that Manuel Plancarte Gaspar was part of the cartel’s organ-trafficking ring. It seems that police here is doing its job but only because of the public pressure and media accusations that it is too much corrupted and in the shadow of drug money infusion to the highest authorities. The experts who broke this ring were reporting that the gang kidnapped children, brought them to the rented homes with medical equipment where the hired professionals would remove their young organs and send them to the final client through the developed network of organized crime:“Plancarte Gaspar is the nephew of Enrique Plancarte Solis, a top Knights Templar leader.Mexican authorities have said drug trafficking is no longer the top source of income for the Knights Templar, which was once a top producer of crystal meth. The officials say the cartel’s main sources of income are illegal mining, illegal logging and extortion.” However, the years back were the horrible for parents whose children have been abducted and never really found but only urban legends have been shared. The all kidnapped children have been the children from the Mexico City schools whose blood samples have been directed to the drug cartel members through the one school member, usually one who was enough paid to share the important and clarified data with the third parties.
The catholic missionaries are trying to break this terrible line of abuse of people and children but they asked for help from American officials because the crime has help from the both side. One Mexican militiaman said :“In Villa Victoria-Chinicuila, almost near to Jalisco, at a checkpoint there was stopped a truck with frozen bodies, some were children and they were missing some organs …no one knew what happened to them … From one year to date there has been seen naked, open bodies, with nothing inside” The necessity to rip out organs and to sell them comes from the black market’s demands. The price can go from $ 100,000 or $ 150,000 for every body and the point is to find those whose medical picture is ideal or the most ideal to those who are searching for organs. The first targets are definitely the poor families of immigrants or the homes for street children. The criminals know that if they abduct anyone who has roots or some kind of power, the police will open the case. When they kidnap street children or kill some young biker on the street, performing the traffic accident, they will be spared from police investigation. What we know is totally disturbing, 98% of crimes in Mexico is always unsolved.
Mexico has a very sensible social atmosphere now, ruined by poverty and tensions among classes. The rich and the poor. The corrupted layers of the government in between. You can not count on your police to protect you or to save you because they are all colored by drug money as an award for “good job” and “closed eyes” on cartel’s crime. But you can maybe count on the Christian militia:”The Christian militia is called Los Autodefensas, and they began as a response to the horrific and satanic murders done by the drug cartel, and as a result of the utter corruption and evil cooperation the government has with the cartels. The drug cartels, like ISIS, taxes all those who live under their control. A local farmer was unable to pay the extortion tax, and so the cartel kidnapped his children, tied them up and smashed their heads upon rocks. It was against this horrific violence that this militia arose and fought.” Someone said that Mexico is like a nuclear bomb, ready to explode in any moment.
The organ harvesting is internationally organized and leaded. The culpa is not only Mexican but the whole world has participation and contribution in it, encouraging the black organs market and the despaired wealthy recipients to trade someone young life for their survival. The New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles have “broker friendly” hospitals whose doctors don’t care what is the story behind the new coming organ. The forced organ donation means murder of someone totally innocent but totally acceptable to be sacrificed for new life of someone with golden bank account:”Organ donation is only possible if the organ in question has blood and oxygen flowing through it until the time of harvesting. A living donor can give a whole kidney, a portion of their liver, lung, intestine or pancreas. Otherwise, the donor must be declared brain dead while circulation and oxygenation remain intact.”
Based on some data from 2014, 120,771 people are waiting for organ and about 18 will day every day while waiting so one donor can save up to 8 lives. The rich do not ask for a price and the poor have never been asked for a life or death:”Organ donation is strictly regulated in the US, yet a black market is alive and well. Typically a broker will team up with a funeral home director, forging consent forms and a death certificate to harvest human tissue before the body is cremated or buried. Sometimes organs are harvested from a living victim for compensation. In the worst case it involves kidnapping for the purpose of organ harvesting. Always at the end of the chain is a wealthy recipient, willing to pay big bucks with no questions asked.”
The underground market of body organs can deliver all you can imagine: hearts, lungs, livers but the kidneys are the most valuable. WHO informs that about 7,000 kidneys are illegally taken annually by criminals worldwide and the price depends on the state of the organ.
The huge amount of money is fluctuating in the industry of organs illegally harvested in the poor and corrupt countries like Mexico, Bolivia or Peru. But, those who really make profits are not only the members of drug gangs but the doctors who were hired to kill for money in local hospitals where is the last destination for many abducted homeless people and children.
Then, there are also tourists who were ended up as the victims of illegal organ chain. That was the case in Brazil. The American couple has never been found until their empty bodies have not been found by hikers by some forgotten canyon.
Who will protect the poor and weak from the terror of rich and cruel? At the moment when your child is kidnapped, you have already lost the battle with the system which will never support the voiceless. In the time when those who have power use that power for evil, the good people remain silent and afraid to act and to stop the evil in its roots. The organ harvesting is old business and nowadays is helped by political masquerade and criminal influence in all levels of the society. The breaking point is the following: we do not know when starts the crime and when it is ended. All is mixed up and messed up but only dead bodies can remind us who low we have fallen down.
We don’t feel anything anymore.Our hearts are taken away long time ago in some of emotional harvesting storms and now we only have culpa. Nostra culpa.

Again, thank you Sarah for shedding light on this very important topic. It is so sad and deplorable that “human beings ” would commit such crimes against “humanity ” !
Worse is the fact that these crimes are committed by doctors who are willing to participate in such atrocities for money! Human greed is an inveterate trait in most people, hence the willingness to do anything, irrespective of ethics, in order to achieve their financial goal!
In order to thwart this network of organ harvesting, the international community has to work together as one entity. Two checkpoints need to be established to stop this unfathomable crime.
The first checkpoint is regatding the “bad ” doctors performing organ harvesting. The second checkpoint is regarding the “bad” doctors using the harvested organs with no questions asked as to the origin of these organs.
Thus, all organs have to be traceable to a “willing ” donor! Further, doctor “police”, by dint of man power, i.e. detectives, and surveillance cameras, would keep “bad” doctors from performing organ harvesting at the “giving” end, and from using/transplanting such organs at the “receiving” end!
This would be an efficient and quick way of breaking the cycle!
Mankind has sunk to an all-time low! Let’s all work together to end this atrocity!

Trade in human organs is illegal in many jurisdictions in a number of ways and for various reasons; although, organ trafficking is widespread, as is transplant tourism. The data on the extent of the black market is difficult to obtain. The question of whether to legalize and regulate the organ trade to combat illegal trafficking and organ shortage is debated, nonetheless…
Research indicates that illegal organ trade is on the rise, with a recent report by Global Financial Integrity estimating that the illegal organ trade generates profits between US$600 million and $1.2 billion per year, with a span over many countries. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), ‘Payment for organs is likely to take unfair advantage of the poorest and most vulnerable groups, undermines altruistic donation and leads to profiteering and human trafficking’.
Poverty and loopholes in legislation contribute to the illegal trade of organs. Poverty is common in all countries with a large black market for organs. These end up in First World states such as Britain and The United States of America. It is estimated that 42% of transplanted organs come from illegal trafficking in organs.
In 2011, Scott Carney (North American investigative journalist) coined the term ‘Red Market’, to describe a broad category of economic transactions related to the human body. He argues that advances in Science have served to increase the demand for human body parts. He writes that this increased demand has enabled a vast Red Market, encompassing a wide variety of transactions, from organ sale to organ thievery, ‘bone thievery,’ ‘blood farming,’ and even rented space in women’s wombs. He suggests that commerce in body parts is distinct because bodies are not commodities in a strict sense: straight Commerce in human bodies reduces a human life to its ‘meat value’.
The Declaration of Istanbul was created at the Istanbul Summit on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism held in early-2008 in Istanbul, Turkey. The Declaration clarifies the issues of transplant tourism, trafficking and commercialism and provides ethical guidelines for practice in organ donation and transplantation. Since the creation of the declaration, over 100 countries have endorsed the principles. Some nations have subsequently strengthened their laws against commercial organ trade; including China, Israel, the Philippines and Pakistan.
Many people in The United States of America believe that adopting a system for regulating organ trading similar to Iran’s will help to decrease the national shortage of kidneys. They argue that the US-government could adopt similar policies to promote accountability, ensure safety in surgical practices, employ vendor registries, and provide donors with lifetime care. They further argue that private insurance companies would be invested in providing such care for donors, and that laws could be enacted to make long-term care an inviolable condition of any donation agreement.
Sarah’s article emphasizes the present issues the world of humans is confronted with, in the context of the illicit trade in human body parts. I have to question the Federal guidelines for American hospitals, which require a minimum amounts of transplant surgeries each year , as playing an unintended role in this crisis. When I read about transplant teams promising an organ in 45 days average wait time, I can’t help but wonder how that is possible. The numbers of missing American teenagers also raises a red flag. Where are they disappearing to?
Is this all an unfortunate accident or is there a deliberate and evil method behind this madness?
The number one negative health consequence from the operation of nuclear power plants is heart damage. We have so called climate scientists and the engineers that make up the global nuclear cartel promoting nuclear energy as clean and green. Illinois has more nuclear power plants than any other state and companies like Exelon have their lobbyists running the E.P.A. This creates jobs which poison us all slowly and invisibly, then. create a huge heart transplant and cancer care industries which also influence policy makers and drive the American economy. It’s a sick world we live in these days. Literally.
Now, we are talking about universal healthcare. We already have tax penalties for not buying health insurance. So it’s not just the rich who can get an organ in 45 days. Anyone with MediCaid can get a new heart at hospitals like Inova in Fairfax, Virginia, for example. The poor people are driving the transplant economy too and feeding off the poorer people South of the border, I am afraid.
We have aging decrepit nuclear power plants all over America that will cause the sacrafice of innocent children in so many evil ways if we don’t shut this filthy industry down. I pray for all the children living on this sick planet. May justice prevail.

CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS A JEW.
THE NAVIGATOR, THE CHURCH AND THE KNIGHTS.
The Knights of Columbus is one of the strongest, if not the very strongest, of all the numerous organizations embraced within the American Federation of Catholic Societies.
One of the aims of this organization is to secure the recognition of Columbus Day for a national holiday, upon which day the Roman Church, with all the pomp, trappings and circumstances, with cardinals, archbishops, bishops, priests and monks, together with all Catholic societies, congregations, confraternities and Roman Catholic military organizations, may parade the streets in all the gaudy robes and vestments and other insignia of the Roman Church in order to impress Americans with the sense of their power.
Among the methods which the Roman Catholic prelates, priests and politicians are using to “make America dominantly Catholic” is that of extolling those supposed to be of their own faith who were active in the discovery, colonization and settlement of America: and among these by far the most important stands Christopher Columbus.
Columbus was not a knight, though he lived near the close of the days of chivalry and was considerable of an errant on the seas, making four voyages to the land he thought to be India, besides others according to his own account, with which the reading world is less familiar.
As one of the discoverers of the New World leading to its settlement and colonization, he may deserve some praise, but the effort to make him a saint and advance agent of the “Holy Roman Catholic Church” on this continent, has no substantial basis in fact, since the latest investigations tend to support the view that he was a Jew at heart, as he certainly was half-Jewish in lineage, and that his representations to the Spanish sovereigns as to religion and even as to his birthplace, were made merely with a view of concealing his real origin and sentiments.
This is supported by such facts and considerations as the following:
1. The assertion of his illegitimate son and first biographer, Fernando, that his father did not desire his origin and fatherland to become known.
2. The answer of the same Fernando to the contemporary historian, Bishop Augustin Giustiniani, that the fatherland of his father was a “secret;” this circumstance at the same time reminding us that the writing of history in Spain as regards the New World, was restricted by law to the priestly orders.
3. The testimony of Pedro de Arana, brother of Beatriz Enriquez, the mother of Fernando and intimate friend of the Admiral, that “he had heard Columbus say he was a Genoese, but did not know where he was born.”
4. In a suit as to right of entail, the masculine line of the Admiral having become extinct in 1578, no Genoese Columbo appeared to claim the right; and of the two Italian Columbos who presented themselves, one from Cuccaro and the other from Cugureo, neither proved relationship.
5. Columbus never mentioned father or mother, and never used the Italian language. Of the ninety-seven distinct pieces of writing by his hand, which either exist or are known to have existed (sixty-four being preserved in their entirety), all, except a few monographs in Latin, were written in Spanish. Is it reasonable that a young man leaving his native land at the age of fifteen should forget his own language? Or that a poor young man should be able to speak and write a foreign language fluently? In the preamble to his diary, speaking of the title “Khan,” he says:
“Which title in our Romance tongue means King of kings.”
6. The name Columbus signed to his contract with the Spanish sovereigns was Cristoval Colon, which is not the Italian correlative of Columbus, as many suppose, but a distinct Spanish family name; though Columbo is more extensively Italian, by which name the Admiral called himself to suit his own purposes, afterwards going back to the name Colon. Thus as the Spanish writer and critic Fernando de Anton del Olmet says:
“We have four periods in the life of Christopher Columbus: a Spaniard in Spain before going to Genoa, an Italian in Italy on finding out the advantage of being one, a Spaniard in Spain on returning thither and believing it more practical to be such, and an Italian in Spain on being convinced of the advantage that it would bring to him.”
7. Columbus said he was “from Genoa and was born there,” but when Oviedo wrote, not many years after the death of Columbus, it was regarded as so very doubtful where the great navigator was born, that Oviedo mentions five or six Italian towns claiming the honor of his birth; and beginning with Savona, we find each of the following Italian towns claiming the honor of having given Christopher Columbus to the world: Plaisance, Cuccaro, Cogleto, Pradello, Nervi, Albissoli, Bogliasco, Cosseria, Finale, Oneglia, Quinto, Novare, Chiavari, Milan and Modena.
These claims arose largely from the lack of definite data among Columbo families in Genoa, and lines of his ancestry existing there, and the further fact that families of the name Columbo existed in each of these several towns. Speaking of these claims, Justin Winsor, the historian, says:
“The pretensions of some of them were so urgent that in 1812 the Academy of History at Genoa thought it worthwhile to present the proofs as regards their city to the world. The claims of Cuccaro were used in support of a suit by Balthazar Columbo, to obtain possession of the Admiral’s legal rights. The claim of Cogoleto seems to have been mixed up with the supposed birth of the corsairs, Columbos, in that town, who for a long time were confounded with the Admiral. There is left in favor of any of them, after their claims are critically examined, nothing but local pride and ambition.”
8. A later claimant for this honor was the town of Calvi, in Corsica, and their cause was particularly embraced by the French. As late as 1882, President Grevy, of the French Republic, undertook to give a national sanction to these claims by approving the erection there of a statue of Columbus. The assumption is based upon a tradition that the great discoverer was a native of the place.
“The principal elucidator of that claim, the Abbe Martin Cassanova de Pioggiola,” says Justin Winsor, “seems to have a comfortable notion that tradition is the strongest kind of historical proof, though it is not certain that he would think so with respect to the twenty and more other places on the Italian coast where similar traditions exist or are said to be current.”
“Finally, in order to determine the value of the evidence serving as basis to the claim made by Genoa to be the birthplace of the renowned Admiral,” says del Olmet, “it suffices to know that four cities have dedicated four marble monuments to their son, Christopher Columbus; two possess the register of his baptism, and eight or ten which present divers title-deeds to consider themselves his cradle, and opinions are not wanting which attribute to him a Greek nationality.”
9. The explanation why Columbus made contradictory statements as to the date of his birth, his birthplace, and concealed his real sentiments on other questions, has only recently been made clear through the discovery of sixteen notarial documents ranging from 1428 to 1528, by a local historian of Potevedra in Galicia, Spain, Mr. Garcia de la Riga, these documents relating to the Colon and Fonterossa families, who also found other evidences that Christopher Columbus, whose natal name was Cristoval Colon, was born and passed his childhood in that city, his parents having been Domingo de Colon and Susana Fonterossa, a Jewess. And though they probably emigrated to Genoa about 1450, when the boy Cristoval was about fifteen, availing themselves of commercial relations which existed between the two ports, there is no reasonable doubt remaining that Cristoval Colon was obliged to conceal his maternal origin, rather than incur the dangers of the Inquisition and the prejudices of his time; since, had his birthplace and family connections been known, the fact that his mother was a Jewess would have been not merely an insuperable obstacle to his receiving the attention of Ferdinand and Isabella, but a cause for his execution, or at least expulsion from the land of his birth. For as he states in his journal, the Jews were expelled from the domains of both Ferdinand and Isabella in the very same month in which he was appointed Admiral.
10. That Columbus was quite capable of such subterfuge is revealed in his own accounts of himself and otherwise. He relates how, in an early expedition as captain of a vessel under King Reinier, he deceived his own frightened crew by secretly altering the point of the compass so as to get the vessel within the Cape of Carthagena. He employed a similar artifice, it will be remembered, in his alteration of the log-book on his first voyage to America, thus deceiving his crew as to the distance they had sailed from Palos.
His early voyages referred to by himself, and supported by new-found documents, show him quite capable of deceiving even their Catholic Majesties.
“Of the early career of Columbus,” says Justin Winsor, “it is very certain that something may be gained at Simancas, for when Bergenroth, sent by the English Government, made search there to illustrate the relations of Spain with England, and published his results, with the assistance of Gayangos, in 1862-18/9, as a Calendar of Letters, Despatches and State Papers relating to negotiations between England and Spain, one of
the earliest entries of his first printed volume, under 1485, was a complaint of Ferdinand and Isabella against a Columbus some have supposed it our Columbus for his participancy in the piratical service of the French.”
11. But, it may be asked, how does the nativity of Columbus at Pontevedra comport with his sending his title-deeds, despatches and documents to Genoa by Nicholas Oderigo, Ambassador from that city to the Court of the Catholic sovereigns? This is very reasonably answered by the discovery in the archives of Pontevedra of a document as follows:
“Order of the Archbishop of Santiago, Sire of Pontevedra, ordering the Council, on March 15, 1413, to pay to Mr. Nicholas de Oderigo de Janua, 15,000 maravedis old coin, in three sums of money.”
The parents of Columbus being members of the Colon and Fonterossa families residing in Pontevedra, who emigrated later on to Italy, it may be accepted that they availed themselves of some recommendation from or of, direct or indirect relation with the Oderigos. At all events, that the Ambassador Oderigo knew the true natal place of the Admiral, and knew how to keep the secret, may be deduced from the silence that he kept relative to the fatherland and origin of his friend, from the fact of having retained the copies entrusted to him, and which were not delivered to the authorities of Genoa until about two centuries later by Lorenzo Oderigo.
12. Cristoval Colon, known as Christopher Columbus, had a younger brother, Bartholomew, also a navigator, whom Columbus made Adelantado, or Governor General of the Indies, a man of importance. Two Genoese historians, Antonio Gallo, a native of Genoa, who knew the Colon family, and Bishop Giustiniani, also a contemporary of Columbus, each speaking of Bartholomew, say:
“A minor, born in Lusitania ;” and Lusitania, in that time of the world, comprised Portugal and Gallicia, in which Pontevedra is located. So the probability of Cristoval’s having been born in the same country and of the same Hebrew parentage as his brother is rendered well-nigh certain.
13. Various historians, including Oviedo, state that the flag-ship of Columbus, the Santa Maria, and vulgarly known as the Gallician, was built at Pontevedra; and Mr. La Riega unearths a notarial contract executed at Pontevedra, July 5, 1487, freighting the vessel called Santa Maria, or La Gallega applying both names indiscriminately.
14. A plot of land appraised to the Colon family, half a kilometre from Pontevedra, was bounded by other lands in the cove of Portosanto in the parish of San Salvador, while a triangular space existed near the home of the elder Colon, adjacent to the Gate and Tower of Galea. In his first voyage Columbus named the first island discovered, San Salvador, and the fourth Portosanto; and in his third voyage, he gave the name Trinidad to the first land he saw, and called the first promitory, the Cape of la Galea.
15. The wily Hebrew character of Columbus is shown in the way he overcame the objection advanced by the sovereigns and the Church authorities, that his theory of the earth’s rotundity contradicts the Scriptures.
Cardinal Pedro Gonzales de Mendoza, Archbishop of Toledo, finally conceded that the theory was worthy of a trial, but the great body of churchmen stood firmly by the opinions of Lactantius and St. Augustine. Says the former, ridiculing the globular theory of the earth:
“Is there any one so foolish as to believe that there are antipodes \with their feet opposite to ours people who walk with their heels upward and their heads hanging down?”
And St. Augustine declared it impossible that races on the opposite side of the earth could have descended from Adam and Eve, since there was no land passage,
“and it was impossible for them to have passed the intervening ocean.”
Columbus contended merely that the plan was worthy of the experiment, while if successful the wealth of the Indies would reward the effort.
“Gold,” he says in one of his letters, “is the most precious of all commodities; gold constitutes treasure, and he who possesses it has all he needs in this world, as also the means of rescuing souls from purgatory, and restoring them to the enjoyment of paradise.”
This last clause must have been peculiarly touching to the sovereigns who are credited with establishing the Holy Inquisition, and who expelled seventy thousand families of Jews, not allowing them to carry away their gold or silver. During their administrations between nine and ten thousand Jews were buried alive, seven thousand in effigy, while about one hundred thousand were persecuted in other ways.
16. The fact that the funds defraying the expenses of the first voyage, as referred to in a speech in Congress by the Hon. Julius Kahn, in December, 1911, were supplied by Luis de Santangel, the king’s chancellor and a converted Jew, is significant.
“In his original account books, extending from 1491 to 1493, preserved in the Archive de Indias in Seville, Santangel is credited with an item of 1,140,000 maravedis, which were given by him to the Bishop of Avila, who subsequently became the Bishop of Granada, for Columbus’ expedition.”
Just how many Jews there were in the fleet of Columbus is not known. One was Luis de Torres, a Marano, or converted Jew, learned in the languages, who acted as Columbus’ interpreter; others of Jewish extraction were Msestre Bernal, the ship’s physician, and Marco, the surgeon, the latter of whom had undergone penance for his faith in October, 1490, at Valencia, at the same time that Adret and Isabel his wife were burned to death for not adopting Roman Catholicism.
The interest of Columbus in Jews was finally shown by his legacy to “the Hebrew who dwelt at the gate of the Jewry,” and whom he did not otherwise name in his will, and whom certain historians believe to have been a maternal relative.
17. It has been repeatedly noted by historians that the writing of Columbus was tinctured with the style of the Old Testament. Some of his disquisitions and apostrophes would not be out of place in that revered volume, such for illustration as his “Vanquishing the Waterspout,” and his “Vision of the River of Bethlehem,” inserted in a letter addressed to the sovereigns.
The regaining of the ancient land of Judea seems to have been a fixed idea with Columbus, a project he urged upon the sovereigns, and even the pope, and concerning which he wrote in his own “Prophecies:”
“The conquest of the Holy Sepulchre is the more urgent when everything foretells, according to the very exact calculations of Cardinal d’Ailly, the speedy conversion of all the sects, the arrival of Antichrist, and the destruction of the world.”
If one will study the writings of the fifteenth century, Christian and Jewish, as related to Antichrist, a new light may dawn upon him in regard to the character and real sentiments of Columbus; as there were many who regarded the papacy in its hideous perversions of morality as the real Antichrist. It was an era of dissimulation, when deceit seems to have been frequently necessary to the preservation of one’s life; and Columbus seems to have been an adept in the art of dissembling.
“The person who may suspect the fervor of Columbus was one of his tactics,” says del Olmet, “being acquainted with the prevailing ideas of his country, cannot be charged with being suspicious. Columbus proposes to the Catholic sovereigns the discovery of a world, in order to conquer the Holy Land with its riches. He fortifies his project with the religious spirit of that kingdom, in which a standing was given to the Tribunal of the Inquisition and the expulsion of the Jews decreed. If the Admiral of the Indies, in lieu of this, had publicly declared himself a Jew, it is not venturesome to state that his project, opposed to a great part of the scientific ideas of his time, being examined by a board of theologians, would rapidly have led the renowned alleged Genoese to those autos in which the faith, turned to fanaticism, changed into sanguinary persecution the pious indulgence of Christ.”
18. The reticence of Columbus as to his ancestry and birthplace, his vacillation as to his name, and his duplicity on many occasions and involving various questions, are seen to be all clearly explained when we find that he was not only of Hebrew lineage, but possessed of strong Jewish proclivities, thus explaining his great anxiety to regain the land of Palestine, his fervid literary style akin to the Hebrew prophets, and withal, his love of gold and avaricious spirit which led him even to acts of cruelty, as in sending a shipload of the natives from Cuba to Spain to be sold into slavery.
And this explanation is being accepted by all who take the time and trouble to examine it along with all the collateral facts discovered by Mr. La Riega. Not only has a favorable criticism on this conclusion been published in “La Espana Moderna,” Madrid, by Fernando de Anton del Olmet, but the Spanish Encyclopedic Dictionary accepts this view in the Columbus biography. Eva Canel, in Buenos Ayres, has written articles sustaining it, as has Martin Hume in London; and it appeals so strongly to rational minds that it may be safely used to illustrate the ancient adage that truth is mighty and will prevail!
The Roman Catholic Church seems to be unfortunate in her claims as to distinguished personages, it being conclusively shown that St. Peter, upheld by the Church as “the first pope and bishop of Rome,” was never in that city; St. Patrick, claimed as “the Apostle and Patron Saint of Ireland,” has been quite positively identified as a Protestant; and Christopher Columbus, the uncanonized saint of the Roman Church on this continent, and the Exemplar of the Knights of Columbus, is now demonstrated to have been a Spanish Jew! And according to the writings of reputable scholars, among them Mr. Justin Winsor, librarian of Harvard University, and Professor Charles Kendall Adams, LL.D., president of the University of Wisconsin, Christopher Columbus was little better than a pirate, a betrayer of innocent girlhood, a wife deserter, a kidnapper, a slave trader, a tyrant, and man of boundless cupidity.
The Knights of Columbus, founded at New Haven, Connecticut, February 2, 1882, by Rev. M. J. McGivney, curate of St. Mary’s Church, and including as incorporators, M. C. O’Connor, M.D., James T. Mullen, John T. Kerrigan, Wm. M. Geary and C. T. Driscoll, had on January i, 1905, a total membership of 127,206 persons, 43,537 of whom were insured and 83,669 were associate members. They are now said to be over 300,000 strong.
The total net assets of the Knights on the above date were $1,290,196.31, of which $1,239,137.89 was deposited as a mortuary reserve fund, for protecting outstanding insurance contracts. It will thus be seen to be a fraternal and benevolent order. But an adroit feature of this organization, to which Roman Catholics only are eligible, is the initiative service of four degrees, calculated to impress upon candidates their sacred obligations to uphold the Church on this western continent discovered by the great Columbus.
The relations of the Knights and the Church are supposed to be mutual and reciprocal, the Church using the order to further its ends of capturing America, and the Knights using the Church to exalt the glory of Columbus, and more particularly for their own political preferment. But some of the far-seeing leaders of the Hierarchy think there has been a mistake made in permitting such a young and vigorous order to participate in Church affairs, and to take root within the very pale and under the fostering care of the Church.
Some few years ago, Bishop Janssen, of the diocese of Belleville, Illinois, forbade the establishment of a Council of Knights in his diocese. The late Bishop of Hartford, Connecticut, also opposed the policy of the Church in organizing and supporting the Knights in any way, on the ground that sooner or later they would operate after the manner of a cancer in the human body and prove stronger than the Church itself. Various other dignitaries, bishops and archbishops, even ostensibly ardent members of the organization, were so impressed with similar ideas that secret appeals were made to the Vatican, to withdraw its sanction from the organization.
But the Vatican, in view of the pecuniary grants made by the Knights in support of “the faith,” and the hope they have aroused as an aid to capturing America, has thus far taken no action against them. The late Cardinal Satolli in his extraordinary visit to the United States in 1904, ostensibly to perform the marriage ceremony for the daughter of Martin Maloney, a Marquis of the Roman Catholic Church, and for which, incidentally, he received a fee of several thousand dollars, was instructed to investigate the ground of these appeals against the Knights filed at the Vatican. For reasons which need not be stated, his advice to the American branch of the Roman Hierarchy was that, in view of the strength of the organization numerically, financially and intellectually, it would be unwise to oppose them for the present at least. In that year the organization presented the Catholic University at Washington, D. C., the sum of $50,000 to establish a chair in History in that institution.
The Knights themselves, it may be truthfully said, are not in the organization entirely for the sake of their own health, or even for the glory of the Church, inasmuch as there are many ambitious men among their leaders, and some that have little or no use for the Church. However, they work in collusion with the Hierarchy, and are heart and soul in politics. This fact is well known to political machines and non- Catholic politicians, whose candidates must receive the approval of Rome and the Knights before they dare nominate them for either dog pound or presidency.
Knights of Columbus have assured me that their organization, with the Church of Rome, controls the Municipal, State and Federal Government, and also influences the business interests throughout the country. They have also assured me within the past few years that it is almost impossible for a man to secure a position or promotion in any business house or corporation, if a Knight of Columbus be a competitor.
Notwithstanding these facts, the innocent Knights, like their Jesuitical spiritual advisers, publicly declare that they are not in politics, as the rules of their organization forbid their being in such unholy environment it being considered dangerous to their “faith and morals;” and in order to wholly disabuse the minds of the guileless non-Catholics of any such suspicion they frequently protest against the union of Church and State.
In the first session of the Sixty-second Congress, Hon, Ben Johnson, of the Fourth Kentucky District, himself a member of the Knights, denounced (?) Dr. Emil Scharf, a brother Knight, for having promised to deliver the “Catholic vote” in his (Johnson’s) district, as well as in other congressional districts. Why this stage-play to the public through the Press Gallery in the Capitol at Washington, D. C.? If the gallant and honorable member from Kentucky was sincere in his denunciation of Dr. Scharf, why has he not denounced Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop Ireland, et al., for similar conduct, and worse? For the purpose of hoodwinking the non-Catholics this stage-play was continued, Dr. Scharf was “tried” and “expelled” from this politico-religious organization. If the Knights of Columbus were sincere, why have they not expelled their spiritual leaders, brother Knights, whose principal business is politics, aye, Jesuitical politics, which has been the curse of Catholic countries, and is to-day a menace to non-Catholic countries?
The Knights of Columbus, together with the Church of Rome, have succeeded in making October 12, Columbus Day, a holiday in many States of the Union, and have caused to be placed in Congress a bill to create it a national holiday, as shown in accompanying illustration. A similar bill will undoubtedly be passed in the near future.
The Church and the Knights have been instrumental in setting up various busts and statues of Columbus in public places, and even in the White House and the end is not yet! A majestic statue of this remarkable personage, Columbus, is being erected on the Plaza in front of the Union Station at Washington, D. C., in full view of the approaches from Capitol and city. The plan for erecting this statue was started by the Church and the Knights, who secured an appropriation of $100,000 from Congress. The President of the United States, at the suggestion of the Roman Catholic Hierarchy and the Knights of Columbus, has fixed the date for this politico-religious celebration, as will be seen from the following item which appeared in The Catholic Telegraph, published in Cincinnati, Ohio:
“PRESIDENT FIXES DATE.
“President Taft has set Saturday, June 8, as the time for the unveiling and dedication of the Columbus memorial on Union Station Plaza, in Washington, D. C. The date was fixed following a conference on February 17, with James A. Flaherty, Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus; Edward L. Hearn, commissioner on the part of the Supreme Council of the order, and Colonel K. Spencer Cusby, of the War Department. Preparations are being made in Washington to accommodate fifty thousand visitors.”
Messrs. Flaherty and Hearn, before attending this conference, received instructions from their spiritual “bosses” Gibbons, Farley and O’Connell the “American” Princes of the Church, who will control the ceremony and be the principal attraction on the above date, Taft and other prominent plebeian non-Catholic politicians being permitted within the show-ring to assist.
I would respectfully suggest that the Roman Catholic Hierarchy and Knights of Columbus place upon the proposed monument the following inscription proposed by Dr. Henry Brown, of Spokane, Washington, for a similar monument at Walla Walla in that State:
TO THE MEMORY OF CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS, IN GRATEFUL RECOGNITION OF THE FACT THAT HE WAS “THE ORIGINATOR OF AMERICAN SLAVERY” AND FIRST SLAVE-DRIVER IN THE NEW WORLD,”
Dr. Brown, in proposing this inscription, writes:
“I do not forget that very many people, through lack of information, may be tempted to look upon the wording as slanderous and inappropriate. But, for the benefit of all such, I will simply say that these (quotations) are the exact words used by Professor Justin Winsor, Harvard librarian, in his great work on Christopher Columbus, page 312, fifth line from the top and first line on page 282.”
If any religious sect is to control the ceremony, which should be entirely national, and in which all classes without regard to creed should participate, it would seem more appropriate and more in accord with the truth of history that this ceremony be controlled by the Jews.

MARRANOS: THE ORIGINAL CRYPTO JEWS

Joachim Prinz remarks on the
“apparent inability of Jews to understand or predict their own catastrophes. The Jews, whose history consists of one tragedy after another, has yet to be prepared for any one of them.”
After Christians took back Spain from the Moors in the 14th Century, they wanted
“to root out all non-Catholic elements in the country and unite it under Catholic rule.” (Prinz, The Secret Jews, p.25)
Jews had lived in Spain since the 4th Century BC and had prospered under the Moors. The Church demanded that the more than 400,000 Jews convert or leave. Because thousands had been massacred in anti-Jews riots of 1391, more than 250,000 Jews agreed to convert and became known as “conversos.”
However, the Church soon realized it had made a fatal blunder. As you would expect, the majority of these converts were not sincere. These were called “Marranos” (pigs.) But now that they could pass as Christians, they were exempt from the taxes and restrictions that governed Jews. They were more influential and powerful than ever.
They intermarried with the nobility and rose to the highest ranks in government and the Church. The founder of the Jesuits, Ignatius of Loyola , was a converso, and so was his successor Diego Lainex. Most conversos practiced Judaism in secret and were considered “Judaizers.”

The Marranos are the original model for the Freemasons and Communists. They pretended to belong to the target group. But, like Masons, they had handshakes to recognize each other and they met in secret at night to rehearse their subversive dogmas.
EXCEPTIONS
There were also many exceptions, sincere converts like Theresa of Avila, the greatest Catholic woman mystic. Ironically, when Ferdinand and Isabella restored the Inquisition in 1478, sincere converts took the lead.
“The most notorious of these is Tomas de Torquemada, who was descended from a Jewish family, as was his equally violent assistant, Diego de Daza.” (39)
The Inquisition is considered one of the most traumatic events in Jewish history. But it had no power over Jews. It was addressed at Christian converts who had deviated from the faith:
“The Marranos … appeared not as Jews but as allegedly heretical Christians. The number of Marranos who were executed..is estimated at 30,000. The same Inquisition also punished Muslims (“Moriscos”)…However, no unconverted Jews were ever called to the tribunals.”
Nevertheless, in 1492 Ferdinand and Isabella expelled all Jews from Spain. Joachim Prinz remarks on the
“apparent inability of Jews to understand or predict their own catastrophes. The Jews, whose history consists of one tragedy after another, has yet to be prepared for any one of them.” (51)
AFTERMATH
The same process was repeated in Portugal. While many Iberian Marranos eventually gave up their religion, many more left and flooded Europe and the New World (America) with Jews who were able to pass as Christians, i.e. “crypto Jews.”
According to Prinz, they prospered wherever they went. Their wealth was:
“staggering…In Bordeaux, Avignon, Nantes and Marseilles, it became a compliment to characterize a Christian businessman as being “riche comme une juif.”
In England, there were only 100 Marrano families in the early 17th century but
“they were among the most successful merchants in London.”
“In Germany, 40 Marrano families participated in the founding of the Bank of Hamburg in 1619. The fortune of the Marranos of Altona near Hamburg, was estimated at almost six million marks and some of the finest homes in nearby Amsterdam belonged to newly arrived Marranos.” (127)
Everyone knew they were Christians of convenience.
“The fiction of their Christian allegiance was a business arrangement…[their] banking house..was a Christian institution with which emperors, dukes, bishops, and heads of government could safely do business.” (130)
Inevitably, these Marrano bankers and merchants acted in concert. Prinz tells the story of the Marrano banker (House of Mendes) Joseph Nasi (1524-1579) who controlled the Ottoman Empire as Adviser to Sultan Suleiman and later his son Salim. He tried to create a Jewish homeland at Tiberias but no Jews wanted to settle there. Later, he devised the “Marrano Strategy.” He would boycott or ruin anyone who persecuted Marranos. (141)
When a fire destroyed the Harbor of Venice in 1571, many suspected the House of Mendes of paying arsonists to set the blaze.
“And while much of the city was still in flames, Joseph Nasi counselled the sultan to occupy the Venetian island of Cyprus, declaring it a Turkish possession.” (142)
CONCLUSION
The real history of the world is the story of how certain rich Jewish bankers and their non-Jewish Masonic allies have conspired to establish the world government dictatorship now emerging.
The outline of this history is becoming visible. Jews or Marranos have always dominated commerce. Their natural allies were the local aristocrats, who provided protection. Intermarriages took place. The royal families of Europe are probably part-Jewish. E.g. Prince Charles was circumcised by a Jewish mohel.
Now we are seeing a resurgence of the feudal system, where the masses serve this small, inbred, super rich, network of perverts and satanists. Education and media teaches the serfs to embrace the illuminati’s agenda. Taser-wielding cops and soldiers will prod the laggards.
Welcome to the New World Order. It entails some risk for Jews who aren’t part of this tiny clique. But Jews never were very good at “predicting their own catastrophes.”
TORAH DEFENDER WAS OSTRACIZED BY JEWS

Most people think Judaism is synonymous with the Old Testament. But Uriel de Costa (1585-1640) became a famous Jewish heretic because he upheld the Law of Moses.
In 14th & 15th century Spain, over 250,000 Jews were forced to become Christians on pain of death or expulsion. The family of Uriel de Costa was among these “conversos” or “marranos.” A member of the nobility and very wealthy, Uriel studied at a Jesuit University and became a priest. However, he began to question his faith:
“Reason whispered in my ear something utterly irreconcilable with faith.”
He read the Old Testament and found it offered “fewer difficulties.” He believed in Moses and “decided to live according to his law.” So he gave up his ecclesiastical office and beautiful home and sailed to Amsterdam, a
“place where we felt the Jews could live in freedom and fulfill the commandments.”
On arrival he and his brothers immediately “submitted to circumcision.”
De Costa had a rude awakening. Biblical Judaism no longer existed.
“After the first few days, I began to understand that the customs and institutions of the Jews were not at all in accordance with what Moses had written. ..the Jews were wrong to have invented so many things which deviated…The present day sages have maintained both their customs and their evil character. They still fight stubbornly for the sect and the institutions of the evil Pharisees..”
He could not find a basis for most Jewish customs in the Bible nor does the Old Testament speak of resurrection or immortality of the soul.
Ironically for a man who left his home for religious freedom, Amsterdam Jewry would not let him deviate from their opinion “in the slightest.” He was threatened with excommunication and exclusion from the community. He insisted on religious freedom and was expelled.
“Even my brothers whose teacher I was, passed me by, so afraid were they of the authorities that they did not even greet me in the street.”
De Costa “believed in doing something pleasing to God [by] defending freely and openly the law of Moses,” he wrote in his autobiography, “Example of a Human Life.”
But he lived in isolation from the Jewish community and in great loneliness. After seven years, he sought reconciliation. He describes the humiliation he had to endure. He was stripped to the waist, tied to a column and made to recite a psalm while being lashed 39 times. Following this, he dressed and lay down over the threshold of the synagogue while the whole congregation –men, women, children and elderly–walked over him into the street.
“No monkey could have invented a more despicable, tasteless and ridiculous action,” he wrote.
The sting of this humiliation stayed with De Costa and he could not execute the reconciliation. He saw no way out but to shoot himself. As a suicide, he could not be buried in a marked grave in the Jewish cemetery.
CONCLUSION
Faced with Christian intolerance, De Costa discovered its Jewish counterpart. Like many Marranos, he was stranded between two worlds.
He belonged to the tradition of the Sadducees and later the Karaites who insisted on adherence to the written law. But these groups had been suppressed by the Pharisees who dominated Judaism with the oral tradition (Talmud) and the evil pseudo mystical Cabala.
(The Cabala pretends man can be God without becoming God-like, i.e. morally perfect.)
The Old Testament strikes me as a mixed bag. You have to scour it for inspiring parts. Certainly it contains the same kind of xenophobia as the Talmud. But the Prophets’ denunciation of corruption and decadence ring true.
De Costa should probably have melded back into Christian society. Instead, he remained loyal to his God to the end.

Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal and follow other gods you have not known, and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say, “We are safe”—safe to do all these detestable things? Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the Lord.
‘Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel. While you were doing all these things, declares the Lord, I spoke to you again and again, but you did not listen; I called you, but you did not answer. Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors. I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.’

Following the Mishnah is a discussion among the sages. One of the Talmud Sages, Rabbi Ashi, comments as follows:
GEMARA. R. Ashi propounded: What if one caused his blind or sleeping son to pass through, (3) or if he caused his grandson by his son or daughter to pass through? — One at least of these you may solve. For it has been taught: [Any men … that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall he put to death … And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people;] because he hath given of his seed unto Molech. Why is this stated? — Because it is said, there shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire. From this I know it only of his son or daughter. Whence do I know that it applies to his son’s son or daughter’s son too? Rabbi Dr. Freedman, one of the translators of the Soncino Tractate Sanhedrin, clarifies the passage. In a footnote, Rabbi Dr. Freedman confirms that the Talmud Sages use “seed” to denote living children, in the same sense as the Biblical translators understand the term in the above Biblical quotes. In this footnote, Rabbi Dr. Freedman paraphrases the question from Rabbi Ashi:
3. Is ‘thou shalt not cause to pass’ applicable only to a son who can naturally pass through himself, but not to a blind or sleeping son, who must be led or carried, or does it apply to all?

Other footnotes within the same context clarify the fine point of distinction being drawn in the Mishnah and subsequent debates among the sages:
5. Lev. XVIII, 21. This proves that the offence consists of two parts; (I) formal delivery to the priests, and (2) causing the seed to pass through the fire.

Following the Mishnah, Sanhedrin 64a and 64b contain a rousing debate between the Sages concerning:
* the circumstances under which worshipping an idol is idolatry,
* which idols may be worshipped without indulging in idolatry,
* which parts of child sacrifice in what combination are punishable, and
* how children may be sacrificed without violating Leviticus.
THE TORAH OR ORAL TRADITIONS?
Then some P’rushim and Torah-teachers from Yerushalayim came to Yeshua and asked him,
“Why is it that your talmidim break the Tradition of the Elders? They don’t do n’tilat-yadayim before they eat!”
He answered,
“Indeed, why do you break the command of God by your tradition? 4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’[Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16] and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’[Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9] But you say,
‘If anyone says to his father or mother, “I have promised to give to God what I might have used to help you,”then he is rid of his duty to honor his father or mother.’
Thus by your tradition you make null and void the word of God! You hypocrites! Yesha‘yahu was right when he prophesied about you,
‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far away from me.
9 Their worship of me is useless,
because they teach man-made rules as if they were doctrines.’”[Isaiah 29:13]
Then he called the crowd to him and said,
“Listen and understand this! What makes a person unclean is not what goes into his mouth; rather, what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him unclean!”
The talmidim came to him and said,
“Do you know that the P’rushim were offended by what you said?”
He replied,
“Every plant that my Father in heaven has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Let them be. They are blind guides. When a blind man guides another blind man, both will fall in a pit.”
Kefa said to him, “Explain the parable to us.”
So he said,
“Don’t you understand even now? Don’t you see that anything that enters the mouth goes into the stomach and passes out into the latrine? But what comes out of your mouth is actually coming from your heart, and that is what makes a person unclean. For out of the heart come forth wicked thoughts, murder, adultery and other kinds of sexual immorality, theft, lies, slanders. . . . These are what really make a person unclean, but eating without doing n’tilat-yadayim does not make a person unclean.”
Then Yeshua addressed the crowds and his talmidim:
“The Torah-teachers and the P’rushim, sit in the seat of Moshe. So whatever they tell you, take care to do it. But don’t do what they do, because they talk but don’t act! They tie heavy loads onto people’s shoulders but won’t lift a finger to help carry them. Everything they do is done to be seen by others; for they make their t’fillin broad and their tzitziyot long, they love the place of honor at banquets and the best seats in the synagogues, and they love being greeted deferentially in the marketplaces and being called ‘Rabbi.’
“But you are not to let yourselves be called ‘Rabbi’; because you have one Rabbi, and you are all each other’s brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘Father.’ because you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to let yourselves be called ‘leaders,’ because you have one Leader, and he is the Messiah! The greatest among you must be your servant, for whoever promotes himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be promoted.
“But woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! For you are shutting the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces, neither entering yourselves nor allowing those who wish to enter to do so.
Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! For you swallow up widow’s houses while making a show of davvening at great length. Because of this your punishment will be all the worse!
“Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You go about over land and sea to make one proselyte; and when you succeed, you make him twice as fit for Gei-Hinnom as you are!
“Woe to you, you blind guides! You say, ‘If someone swears by the Temple, he is not bound by his oath; but if he swears by the gold in the Temple, he is bound.’
You blind fools! Which is more important? the gold or the Temple which makes the gold holy?
And you say, ‘If someone swears by the altar, he is not bound by his oath; but if he swears by the offering on the altar, he is bound.’ Blind men! Which is more important? the sacrifice or the altar which makes the sacrifice holy? So someone who swears by the altar swears by it and everything on it. And someone who swears by the Temple swears by it and the One who lives in it. And someone who swears by heaven swears by God’s throne and the One who sits on it.
“Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You pay your tithes of mint, dill and cumin; but you have neglected the weightier matters of the Torah — justice, mercy, trust. These are the things you should have attended to — without neglecting the others! Blind guides! — straining out a gnat, meanwhile swallowing a camel!
“Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. Blind Parush! First clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside may be clean too.
“Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look fine on the outside but inside are full of dead people’s bones and all kinds of rottenness. Likewise, you appear to people from the outside to be good and honest, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and far from Torah.
“Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the tzaddikim, and you say, ‘Had we lived when our fathers did, we would never have taken part in killing the prophets.’ In this you testify against yourselves that you are worthy descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Go ahead then, finish what your fathers started!
33 “You snakes! Sons of snakes! How can you escape being condemned to Gei-Hinnom? 34 Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and Torah-teachers — some of them you will kill, indeed, you will have them executed on stakes as criminals; some you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. And so, on you will fall the guilt for all the innocent blood that has ever been shed on earth, from the blood of innocent Hevel to the blood of Z’kharyah Ben-Berekhyah, whom you murdered between the Temple and the altar. Yes! I tell you that all this will fall on this generation!
“Yerushalayim! Yerushalayim! You kill the prophets! You stone those who are sent to you! How often I wanted to gather your children, just as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you refused! Look! God is abandoning your house to you, leaving it desolate.[Jeremiah 22:5] For I tell you, from now on, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai.’”[Psalm 118:26]
